Conventional cancer treatment is necessary in treating and curing disease. However, conventional treatment often causes its own issues and side effects. Many studies have revealed the importance of overall health during and after cancer treatment. Exercise Oncology provides patients an opportunity to take their health into their own hands through evidence-based exercise programs to offset treatment side effects, improve their overall health, improve how they look and feel, and potential help improve cure rates. However, this prescription requires the knowledge and expertise of a skilled team with a proven track record to get results.

Our Team

Exercise Oncology applies nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle interventions from evidence-based recommendations for building muscle, improving strength and balance, raising functional capacity, and enhancing body composition to reduce treatment side effects, manage symptoms, improve overall quality of life and reduce cancer recurrence.
